The Importance of Sensory Play

An important part of our day at school is checking out what’s new in the sensory table! I often refer to it as the “water cooler” of the preschool classroom. It is a great place to catch up with friends, say goodbye to family at drop off time and engage in immersive play. Fall at the Co-op

After a warm September (not that I’m complaining!), it’s finally feeling like fall here in Michigan. And at the Co-op, fall is most certainly underway as well! Having my fourth son in the 3s morning class currently, and having had a child at this preschool nearly all of the falls in recent years, the activities that the Co-op offers have marked this season and filled our memories.
